I have read a ton of articles by leading authors some who call them self Top Medium Writers, that have advocated republishing articles, some suggest deleting the original article, others don’t. Just republish.
And yet is has been the policy of Medium for No Duplicate Content.
It’s not what you don’t know — it’s what you know for sure.
Medium Writers have written many articles advocating just what the Medium Policy says NOT to do. And the articles have claps in the thousands.
So I can only believe that those who are advocating believe that the rules do not apply to them like the action of Chris Collins, Ex-Rep. that recently pleads Guilty to Insider Trading Charges.
Originally he denied charges that he read an email from the Australian company that he was a board member which suggested the stock that he held would loose 90% of it value.
He called his son to immediately sell the stock, his son alerted others who also sold the stock.
Chris Collins did this while at the White House. And now he is likely to spend 4 years in jail along with his son, and others that accepted the insider trading information.
